About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Contract Administrator to join our team on a civil construction project in Darwin. This is a temporary, 3-month assignment with an immediate start. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth administration of contracts, variations, and claims within the project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Variations and Claims: Compile, prepare, and submit variations and claims with all necessary supporting data for approval.
• Subcontractor and Supplier Management: Request quotations from subcontractors and suppliers, and manage the process of raising subcontracts.
• Assistance with Claims Documentation: Provide guidance and support to subcontractors in documenting and submitting their variation claims.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in contract administration, preferably within the civil construction industry.
• Strong understanding of contract management, variations, and claims processes.
• Excellent clear communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
