Their Supply Chain Strategy and Operations team plays a pivotal role in achieving these goals through effective contract management and governance and are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Contract Management Advisor to join them on an initial 6-mth contract term.

Overview
The Contract Manager Business Partner will implement the Contract Management Framework, enhancing contract controls and governance processes. As part of a small team, you will manage contract-related activities, monitor performance, and provide strategic and tactical contract management advice;

Contract Management & Advice;
• Implement and monitor the Contract Management Framework.
• Provide commercial advice and ensure compliance with contracts and policies.

Continuous Improvement;
• Develop strategies to enhance contract management performance.
• Address issues and improve contract delivery outcomes.

Instruments & Reporting;
• Draft policies and procedures.
• Compile compliance reports for management and executive committees.

Stakeholder Liaison;
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Manage contract enquiries, disputes, and negotiations with suppliers.

Skills & Experience
The successful candidate for this role must be able to demonstrate …
• Experience in the construction sector.
• High-level communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Highly organised, able to work independently and in a team.
• Senior-level experience in commercial contract management or policy and governance development.
• Practical experience in contract management techniques.
• Procurement or Contract Management qualifications.
• Experience advising on procurement and contract management in corporate, government, utilities, or construction environments..
