This rare opportunity will see you working with one of Australia's most well established national Electrical companies as the General Manager for NSW. You will be responsible for driving the profitability and sustainability which includes contracting and service, through providing excellent leadership and strategic vision.
You will have a natural ability, developed through years of experience at senior management level, to influence and build strong relationships at all levels, open up new business opportunities to the company and oversee the preparation, negotiation and winning of tenders. To be successful in this role you will have:
- The ability to demonstrate a successful career at senior management level working specifically within the electrical industry, with a clear track record of winning tenders and taking subsequent projects to completion stage a profitable level
- An electrical trade background or an electrical / engineering degree or diploma
- Proven ability to lead and inspire all staff, drive profitability, build new business, build capability and manage all key stakeholders in a fast-paced and ever-changing contractor environment
- Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills with a track record in building and maintaining relationships
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, a collaborative working style and the capacity to think and act strategically
- Experience in negotiation of EAs and high-level IR skills
- Knowledge of business improvement processes and strategies
- Strong financial management skills
