Based in Para Hills West, our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchasing Analyst for a 6-month project with the potential of ongoing permanent employment. Join a global, family-run technology company today!

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards to communicate purchasing performance, key metrics, and insights to stakeholders.
  • Analyse and amend purchasing parameters, based on data-driven recommendation.
  • Follow up on overdue purchase orders with suppliers, and update ERP system accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other purchasing team members to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the relevant key stakeholder to implement methodology and develop Power BI dashboards to evaluate supplier performance based on various metrics informing purchasing decisions.
  • Participate in S&OP meetings to report on analysis
  • Prepare, review, and manage purchase orders ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor order status and follow up on delayed or incomplete deliveries.

Essential skills / Experience required:
  • Strong knowledge in power query and power BI with proven experience in developing power BI dashboard and regular reporting
  • Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or relevant field (desired but not essential)
  • Proven experience in materials coordination within a fast-paced industry
  • Strong fundamental knowledge on supply chain processes and cause-and-effects.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills and appreciation of continuous improvement
  • Skilled in Microsoft Suites eg Outlook, Excel - Pivot table, V-Lookup, Power Query and Power BI.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems.
