An opportunity is now available for a Trades and Services and White-Collar recruiter to join our Darwin team. As a Recruitment Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing existing client accounts, developing new client accounts, and managing end-to-end recruitment assignments for a range of clients, including some of the Australia's and Darwin largest contractors.

About the Role

You will play an integral role within our temporary contracting business. This role requires you to be both proactive and reactive with business needs as well as organised and capable of handling a high volume of vacancies and shifting priorities effectively.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Your focus will be:

  • Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selecting, and mobilising candidates.
  • Drafting and publishing advertisements.
  • Developing rapport with candidates and existing workforce.
  • Recruitment of trades-based or professional roles for our existing clients.
  • Drafting and publishing advertisements.
  • Phone screening and face-to-face interviewing.
  • Pre-employment checks, including reference checking.
  • Visiting sites to enhance client relationships and manage our people.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of Workplace Health & Safety are maintained.

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will ideally possess:

  • A positive, can do, attitude.
  • Recruitment experience (desirable).
  • Tech Savvy with experience using CRM's.
  • Strong administration skills and excellent phone manner.
  • Passion for relationship building and ability to develop rapport.
  • A genuine desire to provide our clients with outstanding service.
  • Ability to communicate well.
