Working for a well established and award winning electrical company, this services/operations management role will require you to be responsible for the technical and administrative management of all allocated customers, projects, servicing requirements and other field activities within the division including co-ordination and management of shared resources. You will be leading and resourcing multiple work teams and providing high level customer service ensuring all work is on track and meeting agreed timelines and financial targets.

Reporting to the Division Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Manage the overall performance of staff and allocating work responsibilities to supervisors, leading hands, project managers, engineers, coordinators and administrators
Set up new projects to ensure all necessary resources are in place including technical requirements and purchasing and support tending processes
Oversee the logistics for all jobs
Ensure all allocated works meet agreed time and financial targets
Participate in relevant strategy and business planning processes
Promote, maintain and manage customer and supplier relationships
Work collaboratively with relevant internal managers to ensure the effective co-ordination and utilisation of all resources on various jobs;
Work collaboratively with management to improve business processes.

Skills / Experience required:

Substantial services and/or operations management experience gained within an electrical / maintenance / services environment
Experience in the services, operations and planning management of multiple maintenance and service jobs running concurrently
Electrical Trade qualification/licences
Excellent leadership qualities - ability to lead, coach and mentor
Proven ability to work independently
Understanding of WHS requirements
Strong business acumen and proven experience in business administration and financials in relation to projects and asset management
Excellent time management, problem solving and quick decision making skills
Excellent negotiation skills with a strong customer focus and impeccable service ethic

To be successful for this role, you will have substantial experience in leading a team of staff with a proven proactive management style. You will coach, motivate and influence others, be well connected with long term relationships in the NSW electrical and construction market and have a strong logistics background with excellent attention to detail. You will also have well developed analytical, financial management and problem solving skills.
