We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Auto Electrician for an immediate start.
About the role:
Work will be carried out both in the workshop and off site as required and will include, but not limited to the following:
• Carry out routine electrical works including vehicle preparation and the fitting of electronics.
• Correctly completing and timely submission of all relevant paperwork as required.
• Performing checks and tests to verify the success of repair work.
• Assembling and installing electrical and electronic systems.
• Ensuring that parts are requested in a timely manner.
• Diagnose and undertake electrical repairs on a wide variety of light vehicles, haulage and plant equipment using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Preventative maintenance checks & repairs on all electrical equipment and components.
• Connect power-operated vehicle equipment and accessories to power supply.
• Adjust engine control systems and timing.
Essential:
• C Class Licence
• White card
• Relevant Trade Qualification
• Previous experience in similar role
Desirable:
• Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence
• First Aid Certificate
• Forklift Licence
• Aircon Licence
