Our client is the leader Caterpillar dealer for South Australia and Western NSW. They have been providing equipment and product support services to mining, construction, industrial, marine, and local government customers for over 50 years.
We are now on the hunt for qualified Boilermaker/Welders to join their busy workshop located in Gepps Cross. The successful candidates will be responsible for build and rebuild of plant machinery equipment.
Duties & responsibilities:
• Fabrication of CAT plant machinery
• Rebuilding / stripping of plant machinery
• Heavy plate work (building up worn out plates)
• Solid wire & flux core welding processes
• Hand rail and stair modifications
• Arc air gauging & pad welding
Mandatory skills and experience:
• Trade Certificate - Cert III in Fabrication
• Experience working with heavy structural steel (up to75ml thick)
• Proven experience with flux core & solid wire welding
• White Card
• Driver's Licence and reliable transport
