About the Role
Our client, a major company in both Australia and New Zealand is a supplier of site maintenance, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, controls and maintenance to major sites all over the country. They employ over 44,000 people across more than 300 sites across Australia and New Zealand.
Our client is working alongside Santos at Moomba in North-Eastern South Australia on major projects.
We require Boilermaker/Pipe Fitters from the oil and gas industry experienced working with Plant Constructions, Turbines and Compressors. Completing Welding, Tensioning, Pump Alignment, Flange Management and Hydro Testing.
You will FIFO from Adelaide or Brisbane working 18 days on 10 days off with camp/food provided. You travel up in work time (paid) and return home the first day of R&R. Working hours are 11 hours per day with an unpaid lunch break.
The pay rate is $55.47 plus penalties starting ASAP with long term potential.
Skills and Experience
• Experience Turbines / Compressor overhauls, conversions and commissioning
• Working at Heights, Gas testing atmospheres and White card tickets - essential
• Relevant Trade Qualifications
• Previous remote work experience
• Strong commitment to OH&S
• Ability to pass a full medical including Drug & Alcohol screening
