Red Appointments are seeking qualified Boilermaker Welders for a 46 day shut-down commencing late July, based in Olympic Dam, South Australia. Our client provides construction, maintenance, and industrial services to many of the largest companies in the resources, mining, and infrastructure sectors in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead smelter work
• Equipment installs
• Processing and rebuilds
Important Note: Due to smelter conditions, candidates must not be asthmatic or have a pacemaker.
What do you need to have to be successful?
• Trade Qualification
• White Card
• Confined Space (within 5 years)
• Working at Heights (within 5 years)
• EWP (highly desirable)
• Australian Working Rights
Must haves:
• Must be cleanly shaven for site
• Ability to wear aspirator masks
• Complete up to 4 hours of site online inductions
• Full availability from late July - early September
• Pass a full functional pre-employment medical, including Drug & Alcohol testing
• Telstra phone service - no other carriers will have reception
