Our client, specialising in design, construction, and maintenance of electrical, renewable, and telecommunications infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Civil Supervisor to join their team. Head office based in northern Adelaide; the DIDO role is available to start immediately on 11:3 roster / 10 hour days, with project locations from Roseworthy through to Port Pirie. The requirement is for one to months, but with the potential opportunity to be extended.

With a competitive hourly rate plus allowances and work vehicle provided, this is a great opportunity for an immediately available experienced Civil Supervisor.

Your role:

You will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Direct supervision of all team members & sub-contractors 
  • Delivering prestart and toolbox meetings 
  • Planning daily activities to meet program targets, deadlines, and budgets 
  • Ensuring safe delivery of works 
  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project specifications
  • Identify and solve complex constructability issues 
  • Monitoring progress of personnel and equipment requirements 
  • Daily reporting 
  • Maintain a prominent level of safety standards, including leading by example to encourage safe work practices


About you:

  • Experience in a similar position working as a Civil Supervisor working on complex infrastructure projects, (specifically renewable or electrical would be highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to meet program targets and deadlines
  • Hold the relevant ticket(s) with experience 
  • Strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety 
  • Current White Card and Drivers Licence 
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • TAAMS highly desirable (if not willing to obtain)
  • Ability to communicate and liaise effectively with people at all levels
