Responsibilities
- Perform commissioning activities for electrical systems including switchboards, motors, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Conduct functional testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting of electrical installations.
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure smooth handover of systems.
- Complete commissioning documentation, test reports, and compliance records.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant standards, codes, and site safety procedures.
- Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on commissioning processes.
What You'll Need
- Current Electrical License
- Industrial Electrician qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- White Card
- HRWL - WP (High Risk Work License - Work Platform)
- CPR/LVR Certification
- WAH (Work at Heights) - desirable
- Police Check
- Current Medical & Drug and Alcohol Screening
Overview
12 hour days - 1 hour (half hour each way) of this is travel paid at normal time.
Camp accommodation.
Working on a mineral sands project
2/1 roster, can FIFO from Adelaide or DIDO if within 4 hours.
