About the Role

Our client, a major company in both Australia and New Zealand is a supplier of site maintenance, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, controls and maintenance to the Santos Moomba site. They employ over 44,000 people across more then 300 sites across Australia and New Zealand.


Our client is working alongside Santos at their Moomba site on the 210 million dollar Carbon Capture Project. The plant will safely and permanently store 1.7 tonnes of C02 per year once complete. The electrical side of the project, titled UNO will be delivering all the electrical pole/lines to the plant. This is a 12-18 month project.


This role will see you operating a 25 tonne Franna alongside the electrical team on the UNO project. This role is out in the tracks working about 20km from the main gas facility assisting with putting up electrical poles.


These positions are day shift only working 18 days on 10 days off on a FIFO roster with camp/food provided. You always fly in/out in company time so you enjoy a full 10 days off. Working hours are 11 hours per day with an unpaid lunch break. Our client does not work over Christmas/New Years public holidays. The pay rate is $49.00 plus penalties.


Skills and Experience

• CN Crane license or above
• Drivers license
• Previous experience with 20+ tonne Franna operations
• Previous experience in mining or major construction project setting
• A good attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong commitment to OH&S
• Ability to pass a full medical including Drug & Alcohol screening and functional assessment
