About the Role:
We are seeking Customer Service Call Centre Support with 2+ years' experience to join our client's high-volume utilities call centre on a temporary, full-time basis. As a Call Centre Operator, you will be responsible for handling a variety of customer enquiries and directing them to the appropriate teams. This role requires a high level of expertise and professionalism, with an immediate start and potential for ongoing opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service in a dynamic and fast-paced call centre environment, ensuring each customer interaction is positive and professional.
Efficiently Handle Enquiries: Address and resolve customer enquiries promptly and accurately, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the company's products and services.
Route Calls and Queries: Direct calls and queries to the appropriate teams or departments, ensuring a seamless customer experience and efficient resolution of issues.
Manage Correspondence: Handle email correspondence with customers, maintaining clear and professional communication. Perform various administrative tasks to support the call centre operations.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
Extensive Call Centre Experience: 12 month minimum experience working in a high-volume call centre environment in Australia, with a proven track record of managing a large number of customer interactions effectively.
Outstanding Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and articulate phone manner that ensures customers feel heard and valued.
Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to think on your feet and resolve issues efficiently, providing solutions that meet customer needs and enhance their experience.
Proficiency in Administrative Tasks: Strong computer skills and the ability to perform administrative tasks accurately and efficiently, supporting the overall operations of the call centre.
Reliability and Adaptability: A reliable and punctual work ethic, with the ability to adapt quickly to changes in a busy environment, ensuring consistent performance and customer satisfaction.
Commitment to Long-Term Success: A dedication to continuous improvement and professional development, with a focus on building a long-term career in customer service. Demonstrated ability to stay motivated and engaged over the long term, contributing to the overall success and stability of the call centre.
  • Local Residence in Darwin: Must be a local resident of Darwin, ensuring familiarity with the community and the ability to provide relevant and personalised customer service.

Benefits & Culture:
• Competitive hourly rate of $39 - $41 p/hr + Super.
• Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs per week).
