Unique opportunity to use your electrical quoting and estimating capabilities of maintenance and services installation work, in a sales focused role.

Our well established, national award-winning electrical client is currently looking to fill a unique opportunity. The role requires an experienced sales representative with an electrical trades/engineering background, with quoting, estimating and sales experience of LV/HV High Energy applications/installations to take on a busy and interesting role with a strong business development focus, that will fully utilise your stakeholder engagement / negotiation capabilities.


Reporting to the Division Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise and negotiate with existing and new clients (commercial, construction, education, health, industrial and, infrastructure) for the provision of electrical services relating to repairs, modifications, replacements, upgrades and LV, HV and High Energy installations
  • Identify and follow up on potential additional new business opportunities from existing maintenance and services contracts
  • Quote and estimate for the work identified
  • Be the key point of contact for clients, managing proposals to ultimately close sales

Essential skills / Experience required:

  • Previous experience in customer facing roles within the electrical industry managing key B2B service account relationships
  • Experience in LV/HV High Energy applications to provide repair, modification, and/or replacement recommendations including estimate cost.
  • Electrical trade or electrical engineering background
  • Proven success prospecting into new markets, generate leads and closing new business deals
  • Able to demonstrate experience of working with multiple customers and competing priorities
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in fast paced and KPI driven environment
  • Well-developed analytical, financial and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills (including MS Word and MS Excel)
  • Ability to work autonomously within guidelines, plan and efficiently schedule appointments and manage personal time to ensure timely service to customers, prospects and the company
  • Current drivers license and own transport
