About the Role:
RED Appointments has a longstanding relationship with one of Australia's leading provider of rollingstock solutions for the Rail Industry. Located at Kilburn SA, our client requires the services of suitably qualified and experienced Diesel Fitters. Tasked with Diesel Locomotive overhaul work, stripping, rebuilding and refitting, this ongoing opportunity offers a varied work scope keeping things interesting week-to-week.
To be successful in the role you will be driven to succeed and hold the following skills/tickets/background -
• Diesel or Heavy Fitter Trade Qualification
• Forklift Licence
• Full Australian Drivers Licence
• Dogging/ Rigging licence (desirable)
• Compressors, radiators, panel and battery work experience
Please note a full Pre-Employment Medical including a Drug & Alcohol Screen is part of the application process.
