Seeking immediately available Electrical Engineer with experience of FIFO to site in the Oil and Gas industry. This is a 18:10 roster with paid flights (ex-Brisbane only) to Injune (via ROMA QLD),paid camp accommodation and food. This is a 4 to 5 month project requirement starting 30th January 2023. The role will be a mix of onsite office based and in the field. Ultimately, you will be supporting supervisors in Hazardous Area issues and building a DOSSIER. The Project involves 4 new compressor station builds and associated infrastructure (sheds, platforms).
Daily tasks include but are not limited to:
- Build packs for the QA team to refer to for QA/HA sign offs
- Help prepare and Build NOE packs
- Look into and support construction team with engineering issues, complete and submit RFI's when required
- Continually complete RLMU drawings per subsystem as they come in, ready to be used and distributed in the NOE's
- Help build MDR's / TOP constant review of documentation required for the packs and follow up on missing documentation from Client and construction / QA team
- Help build and maintain the Project DOSSIER per subsystem, potentially liaise with Hazardous Area and HV independent auditor to close out HA and HV related issues along with site supervision
- Work with and form a strong relationship with client, engineering and project team
- Help out with basic E&I admin duties, ordering and following up on gear, keeping track of and help close out items on subsystem issues register, surveillance on punch list items, closeout for subsystem turnover
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience as an electrical engineer gained specifically in the oil and gas industry
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Ideally available to start 30th January 2023
