Reporting to the Division Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- New business development/opening up new sales opportunities (phone and F2F)
Ensuring key market share targets are met
Reporting sales activity and results on a regular basis
Implementing and reviewing agreed sales plan strategies
Preparing and presenting proposals to new and existing customers
Co-ordinating the tender process and consulting with key stakeholders in the business as necessary
Providing a superior level of customer service to all customers at all times
Regularly reviewing business processes to identify improvement opportunities and implement changes as required
You will be supported by a comprehensive induction/training program
Skills and experience required:
To secure this sales results focused role, you will need to be self-motivated, resilient and a strategic thinker with a track record in achieving agreed sales targets through your excellent appointment setting experience and abilities.
Your well-developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to build strong business partnerships at all levels coupled with effective negotiation skills and the ability to prioritise activities to ensure a timely service to customers and prospects, will set your apart from the rest. You will be supported with a comprehensive/training program.
- Previous technical sales experience in the electrical industry (product, construction or services /maintenance), is preferred
- An electrical engineering degree AND /OR earlier career experience as an electrical trade person is preferred
- A proven track record in consistently meeting sales KPIs, securing and ultimately, closing the sale
This role will require the flexibility to do some travel.
