Our well established, national award-winning electrical client is currently looking to fill a unique opportunity. The DES Designed Electrical Services Sales Representative/Account Manager role require a trade qualified electrician capable of quoting, estimating, and account managing a variety of electrical works (small projects, services, upgrades, LV and HV works, repairs, for a range of clients across a variety of industries (for example, commercial, health, education, defence and infrastructure).

Reporting to the Division Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaise and negotiate with existing and new clients (e.g., commercial, retail, shopping centres, property, data centres, education, heath, defence, infrastructure) for the provision of electrical services relating to maintenance, repairs, modifications, replacements, upgrades, and LV, HV and High Energy installations
  • Identify and follow up on potential additional new business opportunities from your targeted sources as well as from existing maintenance and services contracts
  • Quote and estimate for the work identified
  • Be the key point of contact for clients, managing proposals to ultimately, close sales and ensure successful delivery of works

Essential skills / Experience required:

  • A current or previous electrical licence is essential to be considered
  • Previous experience in an account management/business development role within the electrical services industry is advantageous
  • Experience in LV/HV High Energy applications to provide repair, modification, and/or replacement recommendations including estimate cost would be highly regarded
  • Electricians with experience of pricing works whilst on site who are interested in progressing into sales and account management can also be considered
  • Demonstrative experience of working with multiple customers and competing priorities
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in fast paced and KPI driven environment
  • Well-developed analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills (including MS Word and MS Excel)
  • Ability to work autonomously within guidelines, plan and efficiently schedule appointments and manage own time effectively
  • Current driver's license and own transport
