Key Function: Lead and supervise production team through switchboard manufacturing process to meet high quality standards, agreed set timelines and within budget. Be a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, management, production and support teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead team to meet project deliverables
- Materials planning/management to ensure optimum workshop efficiencies
- Plan day to day activities for the electrical manufacturing team
- Tracking, WIP and status reporting
- Work closely with Operations Manager communicating potential issues/delays
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Electricians (specifically with switchboard manufacturing experience) seeking progression into supervisory/management roles can be considered
- Experienced in reading schematic drawings
- Experienced in control wiring preferred
- MS Project experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management capabilities with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work - a can do attitude
