About the Role:
RED is proud to be working with one of the biggest employers in Australia & New Zealand for a critical Wellhead maintenance project in outback Queensland. Aligned with our clients Power & Energy Division, RED is assembling a suitably qualified and experienced crew of Hazardous Area Electricians. You and your Mechanical counterpart will fly to Roma to start the 18-day swing. From Roma, you'll load up the Ute, check your job sheet' and head off into your 600km territory. This is an ever-changing landscape, so the position will suit someone who loves driving/being a passenger, is good company and doesn't mind moving from site to site daily. The work will include attending breakdowns, pump work, plus general preventative maintenance.
To be successful in the role you will be driven to succeed and hold the following skills/tickets/background -
• Current QLD Electrical Licence (unrestricted) or AMR
• White Card
• LVR/CPR (within 12 months)
• Cert IV in Hazardous Area (EEHA)
• Full Australian Drivers Licence
• Cert IV/III in Instrumentation w/tubing experience (desirable)
• Heavy Industrial / FIFO experience
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Strong communication skills
• Good Understanding of Safety Standards and Regulations
• Strong Fault-Finding and problem-solving skills
