About the Role & Duties
We are currently seeking a High Voltage Electrician to join a growing, Metro Perth-based team responsible for delivering specialist high voltage services across a variety of projects. This permanent full-time position will see you working on critical electrical infrastructure including high voltage ring main units, switchgear, power transformers, HV cables, and earthing systems.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve the installation, online and offline maintenance, testing, and commissioning of HV switchgear and ring main units. You'll also be engaged in the full lifecycle of power transformer work, from installation through to commissioning, with regular maintenance schedules. Additionally, the role includes testing and maintaining HV cable networks and earthing systems to ensure electrical safety and continuity across project sites.
This position is ideally suited to electricians with strong experience in high voltage installation, maintenance and commissioningparticularly those with exposure to substations, industrial power systems, or complex electrical infrastructure. Your ability to work across multiple facets of HV electrical systems will be highly valued, along with a disciplined and safety-conscious approach to every task.

• $58.17 per hour + penalties (higher rates available for more experienced candidates)

Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have the following:
• WA Electrical Licence (unrestricted)
• White Card
• LVR/CPR (within 12 months) or current CPR
• Manual Driver's Licence
• Ability to pass a Pre-employment Medical, including Drug & Alcohol screen (sample, not swab)
