We are currently collaborating with a leading Australian supplier of engineering and maintenance services to the mining and construction materials industries. They are experiencing rapid growth and have multiple positions available.


About the Role

Our client, a leading Australian engineering company has multiple Fitter positions on offer at a Quarry near Epping, Victoria. This quarry which is a part of a greater national network supplies building and construction materials across all segments from engineering and infrastructure projects to commercial and industrial works.

The work will see you working on all quarry equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors etc. For these roles you will need to be confident with undertaking maintenance works on heavy industrial equipment.

These roles are working 10-hour day or night shifts with a paid lunch break Mon-Fri with semi regular Saturdays also on offer. These opportunities are offering long term work leading to permanent full time. There is 1 role on Days only and 2 roles on Nights only.

Please note due to government regulations proof of COVID vaccination is required for this site.


Skills and Experience

• Certificate III in Engineering (Fitter)
• Experience with maintenance work on industrial plant
• Basic welding knowledge - highly regarded
• Previous experience working on site - highly regarded
• Flexibility to work long hours
• Strong commitment to OH&S
• Pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening


Tickets (or willingness to obtain)

• Confined Space
• Working at Heights
• High Risk license (EWP) - highly regarded
