About the Role

Our client, a major company in both Australia and New Zealand is a supplier of site maintenance, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, controls and maintenance to the Santos Moomba site. They employ over 44,000 people across more then 300 sites across Australia and New Zealand.


Our client is working alongside Santos at their Moomba site on the 210 million dollar Carbon Capture Project. The plant will safely and permanently store 1.7 tonnes of C02 per year once complete. The electrical side of the project, titled UNO will be delivering all the electrical pole/lines to the plant. Alongside this project they are doing other packages of work, the next of which will be a 5-6 month duration.


This role will see you working in their Mechanical/Pipe Fitting divisions assisting the current crew. This role includes remote work that can be out in the tracks from the main gas facilities.


These positions are day shift only working 18 days on 10 days off on a FIFO roster with camp/food provided. You always fly in on company time and out on the first day of your R&R. Working hours are 11 hours per day with an unpaid lunch break. Our client does not work over Christmas/New Years public holidays. The pay rate is $53.88p/h plus penalties, starting on the 10th of October.


Skills and Experience

• Certificate III in Engineering (Fitter Trade)
• Confined space & Working at heights MUST be within 2 years
• Drivers license required
• Previous remote work experience highly regarded
• Strong commitment to OH&S
• Ability to pass a full medical including Drug & Alcohol screening
