This rare opportunity will see you working with a very well established T2 Electrical contractor. You will be responsible for driving the profitability and sustainability which includes contracting and service, through providing excellent leadership and strategic vision.

You will have a natural ability, developed through years of experience at senior management level, to influence and build strong relationships at all levels, open up new business opportunities to the company and oversee the preparation, negotiation and winning of tenders, through to project delivery and close out.

This is a unique opportunity and requires a truly exceptional leader to take on this exciting challenge, and further develop this already highly successful tier two electrical organisation.

Role Summary:

Provide leadership, governance and management across delivery, contributing strategically and operationally to the financial growth, operational systems, capability, reputation and overall performance of the business. Ultimately ensuring the business continues as a leader in integrated electrical solutions with sports lighting, sustainable energy, construction and facility servicing sectors.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Extensive experience in the electrical construction and services industry, from electrician level through to senior management roles
Post trade academic studies in leadership and management
  • Demonstratable leadership experience managing personnel to achieve business and operational objectives
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire all staff, drive profitability, build new business, build capability and manage all key stakeholders in a fast-paced and ever-changing contractor environment
  • Solid financial acumen, previous experience in accountability for department/division P&Ls
  • Exceptional influencing and negotiation skills with a track record in building and maintaining relationships
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, a collaborative working style and the capacity to think and act strategically
  • Proficient IT literacy (project software, spreadsheets, project/P&L reporting)
