We are currently collaborating with a leading Australian Geomembrane installer whom have a National presence and International reach. For this role in particular, we're recruiting for a number of their Victorian workshops. They're a proven leader in the multi-disciplined technology that encompasses the lining and covering of dams, reservoirs, landfills, effluent lagoons, tunnels, irrigation channels and tanks. To date, they have installed approx. 10 million square metres of geomembrane liners and covers in Australia.

About the role

Our client specialises in the installation of geomembrane liners for large water storage facilities and their technical capability is supported with an international network of industry experts and global tier 1 material suppliers. Based across Victoria, they're looking to expand their workforce.

They are currently are seeking experience Geomembrane Welder for away & local work. In this role you will be required to fuse the geomembrane plastic sheets together and also assist with adhoc duties. A requirement is to be flexible to work local in one of the workshops and to also work away for large installation projects. Experience in geomembrane or poly welding is requirement, a IAGI certification is very advantageous.

The range of hours for this role are 8:30am-4pm for the workshop and 10-12-hour days on a 3/1 or 2/1 roster when working away.

Requirements

• IGAI certificate (Highly desirable)
• White Card
• Experience in geomembrane or poly welding
• Happy to work in a workshop and away on site
• Good organisational skills
• Commitment to quality, attention to detail & effectiveness
• Ability to work as part of a team with minimum supervision
