Based in Osborne, the HR Advisor is responsible for the provision of HR support in the areas of employee relations, employee engagement, HR administration, and reporting.
In consultation, the HR Advisor will work to ensure compliance to HR policies and procedures and assist in driving the Company's vision & values, whilst helping to maintain a motivated workplace in a friendly, safe and harmonious working environment.
The primary focus of this position is supporting with HR related projects, training requirements, administration tasks, employee enquiries and ER matters, ensuring that any items are resolved in a timely and effective manner, whilst mitigating risk.
About the role:
- Provide support in grievance situations and investigations, in collaboration with manager.
- Work with managers to ensure that personnel are in place at sites / offices, assisting with recruitment activities as required.
- Assist in the coordination, administration and management of people related projects.
- Assist in the administration of contracts / changes for personnel as required, and advise managers on the correct processes, ensuring employee records are maintained.
- Utilise internal/external systems as required to ensure completion of required checks/processes, such as medicals, background checks.
- Support in the collation and input of accurate data and provide accurate and timely reporting of information, including internal/external audits as required, ensuring accuracy in information gathered, and deliver within required timelines.
- Support the P&C team in the development of appropriate process improvements, to assist in driving continuous improvement and process stability.
About you:
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related discipline.
- 2+ years' practical experience gained from within a similar role, within a medium-large operationally focused environment.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong system administration and recordkeeping skills.
- Acts ethically and honestly in all business practices.
- Ability to manage relationships with the customer so win/win outcomes are achieved.
- Engenders trust and is confidential. Able to explain matters / advice in a straightforward manner.
