About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented HSE Administrator to support health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across multiple worksites. This role is ideal for someone early in their HSE career who is eager to grow and contribute to meaningful infrastructure and construction projects. This is a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start available. However, we're happy to accommodate notice periods for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities:
• Assist with health, safety, and environmental compliance across project sites.
• Support the development and review of HSE documentation including risk assessments, management plans, and emergency procedures.
• Conduct site inspections and compliance checks.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records and registers.
• Participate in inductions, training, and emergency response activities.
• Review subcontractor documentation and ensure alignment with legal and company standards.
• Help identify and report non-conformances and support environmental controls.
• Other ad hoc administrative duties as required.
What you need to succeed:
• 2+ years' experience in a similar role
• Certificate IV in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) required, or currently undertaking relevant studies.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Demonstrate initiative and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Knowledge of construction industry safety regulations and best practices is a plus.
• Must be comfortable attending early morning prestart's when required.
