Pay: Competitive flat hourly rate plus Superannuation
Duration: Immediate start for handover and continue to work 3 to 4 months covering Long Service Leave
Responsibilities:
- Maintain all HSEQ policies and procedures, as well as monitor compliance with all necessary statutory, regulatory, and standard requirements.
- Lead the HSEQ company strategy including advising Directors on all HSEQ matters
- Manage workers compensation
- Manage audits (including site audits) and Health and Safety plans
- Provide training and information on all HSQE matters to new and existing employees as required
- Conduct incident investigations as required
Essential skills and experience required:
- Previous experience gained in HSE to managerial level, ideally gained within the electrical and /or construction services industry
- Qualified to Diploma level or above in HSE/HSEQ/WHS/OH&S
- Cert IV Workplace Training and Assessment qualified preferred
- Workers' compensation scheme experience preferred
- Return to Work Coordinator experience preferred
- Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor qualification preferred
- Incident Investigation (ICAM) qualifications and experience
- HSEQ management systems implementation and experience
- Construction Industry White Card
- Current Drivers licence
- Construction Industry White Card
Ability and willingness to travel interstate (e.g., WA and/or VIC) for incident investigation duties
