As one of the largest employers in the NT, our client who supply the water, electricity generation and retail services across the region are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HSE Project Coordinator / Technical Document Controller to join clients team for an 12-month temp placement commencing immediately!

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating the development and review of a comprehensive suite of documentation, including policy, planning, procedures, guidance, and standards.

Key duties and responsibilities:
• Coordinate the development and review of various documents, ensuring timely distribution with clear instructions and deadlines.
• Liaise with outsourced consultants and internal reviewers to facilitate the review process.
• Follow up on reviews, collate comments, and re-draft documents to a final state.
• Work with the HSE team to finalise documents for submission to the Executive team.
• Data collection, analysis, and reporting
• Assist in interpreting, implementing, and evaluating document content to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Provide assurance and proactively coordinate and deliver high-quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Maintain records of activity, including logging changes.
• Advocate for a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Other duties as directed by the HSE team.

What you need to succeed:
• Experience in a similar role particularly with HSE compliance and document writing and control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid reporting skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Data collection and analysis skills.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies and procedures.
• Excellent action planning and organisational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge on work, health, safety and environment policies and procedure

Desired experience
• Experience in contract management, particularly related to outsourcing input and coordinating audits.
• Power and utilities experience
• Qualifications in WHSE or document control
