This is a 3 month full-time contract position with potential to extend and/or convert to a permanent role. While a full-time role, part time requests will be absolutely considered for the right applicant.
Your role:
- Partnering with senior and people managers provide HR policy guidance, including daily HR guidance on employee relations matters.
- Partnering with hiring managers to identify current and future needs in personnel, leading recruitment activities
- Assisting with the evolution of Human Resources procedures, guidelines, and tools including review job descriptions.
- Oversee onboarding for new hires.
- Administration of the Employee Lifecycle HR initiatives, including performance reviews process.
About you:
- Tertiary education in Human Resource Management or related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience in a HR Generalist role in a busy manufacturing / construction related industry / environment
- Ability to make considered decisions with maturity and professionalism.
- Protect confidential information and execute all work professionally and with the highest level of discretion.
- Work collaboratively with all functions across the business, supporting transparent and open communication
- Exhibit service orientation and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office especially in MS Excel, Word and Power point
- Fantastic people skills with the ability to prioritise, not to mention a high level of attention to detail
