Our client, a leading provider of water and electricity generation and retail services, is seeking a skilled Inventory Storeperson for a mid term placement.
About the Role
As a key team member, you will manage a diverse inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring seamless operations across the NT. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of warehousing tasks, including:
- Receiving, picking, packing, counting, and moving stock
- Conducting cyclic stock counts and participating in annual stock-taking
- Accurately completing required data entry
- Operating a forklift to transport supplies within the warehouse
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in managing a commercial warehouse
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- The ability to perform manual handling tasks, including moving stock and loading pallets
- A thorough understanding of stock counting and stock-taking procedures
- Knowledge of general warehouse practices
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- Confident computer skills
- A current Drivers licence and forklift licence
- January commencement
