About the Role:
Working from depots across Metro Adelaide and Regional SA, successful candidates will be tasked with the construction, maintenance and repair of overhead transmission and distribution lines, plus associated equipment. Work weeks are a combination of Monday to Friday local work (7am to 4pm) or workaway fortnights 11 days on and three off. Plenty of overtime is available across days, weekends and work away. Current pay rates are set to increase 6% as of July 1st 2024. Superannuation is 1% higher than statutory rates at 12.5% and will increase to 13.5% on July 1st 2024.
To be successful in the role you will be driven to succeed and hold the following skills/tickets/background:
• Certificate III in ESI Transmission or Distribution
• White Card
• Basic Rigging
• Dogman
• Working at Heights
• High Risk Work Licence WP - Boom
• First Aid & CPR
• TAAMs (highly desirable)
• Willingness to work both local and away
