The role mostly involves conducting servicing but also repairs, and preventative maintenance on a diverse range of light vehicles, as well as utes, 12 footers, buses and trucks with possibility to help on the Heavy equipment when required.
While all positions start on a casual basis, there is a clear path towards securing full-time permanent positions.
Thriving Workshop Environment:
Located in Pinelands, the workshop remains bustling throughout the year. You may occasionally be called upon for breakdowns, adding an exciting element to your routine.
Desired Skills/Experience:
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate preferred but not essential.
• Position opened to junior mechanics.
• Previous workshop and servicing experience.
• Initiative and Pressure Handling: Demonstrate high levels of initiative and thrive in pressure situations.
• Safety Focus: Actively contribute to and support safety initiatives and strategies.
• Motivated Work Ethic: Exhibit a motivated work ethic with the ability to work independently.
• Effective Communication: Demonstrate the ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
