Red Appointments are working closely with our client that develops, produces and sells devices and consumables for medicine and science. They are known as one of the leading providers in this sector worldwide. They are now looking for an experienced Moulding Technician to join their team!
About this role:
You will be responsible for die setting tasks which include setting of plastic injection moulding dies, start up and troubleshooting issues, assisting to improve machine efficiencies and supporting continuous improvement activities. You will also be responsible for quality checks as well as basic machine and tooling preventative maintenance tasks.
Desired skills & attributes:
- Previous experience in die setting or injection moulding
- Experience with quality control
- Experience in maintaining machines, changing oils etc
- ARBURG machine experience - desirable
- LF Licence (Forklift) essential
