About the Role:
Red Appointments is seeking a motivated and dedicated Material Handling Services / Materials Processing Operator for an ongoing casual position with a Tier 1 client. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a small team, in an underground Material Handling System role that involves challenging yet rewarding tasks in copper material processing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate in crushing/screening and belt areas in an underground environment
- Perform bin runs using Integrated Tool Carrier to transport bins from underground to the surface
- Oversee and maintain conveyor systems and manage bin change-outs
- Manual cleaning tasks including shoveling and sweeping to ensure area tidiness
- Radio in any breakdowns and mechanical/electrical faults
- Oversee processing equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and effectively
- Perform regular checks and use gas testers
What's Required:
- Integrated Tool Carrier ticket and experience
- Forklift ticket and experience
- Skid Steer ticket and experience
- MR Drivers Licence
- Experience in Material Handling Services / Materials Processing is essential
- Proven capability to work efficiently in crushing, screening, and underground material handling areas
