Currently, we're excited to announce a new opportunity for experienced Abrasive Blasters and Industrial Spray Painters, as well as Trade Assistants and Cleaners for ongoing positions based in Adelaide. These roles involve the meticulous abrasive cleaning and painting of vessels such as the Collins Class submarines and offshore patrol vessels. Successful candidates will have the privilege of working alongside one of South Australia's premier specialist engineering companies, underlining our dedication to partnering with industry leaders.
Applicants can expect a thorough screening process, including pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Responsibilities include abrasive blasting, industrial spray painting, applying protective coatings, and maintaining productivity within a cohesive team environment. Essential qualifications include relevant experience, a White Card, driver's license, and preferably tickets for confined spaces and working at heights.
What do you need to have to be successful?
Relevant qualifications or significant experience.
White Card
Drivers Licence
Confined Spaces ticket (desirable)
Working at Heights (desirable)
Police Clearance or willing to obtain one (within 3 months)
A strong commitment to OH&S
