About the role:
Honouring privacy and confidentiality, you will be required to process weekly and fortnightly payroll in a timely and accurate manner not limited to but including:
- Prepare and process termination calculations
- Maintain payroll processing system and records
- Calculates employee net pay based on time records, benefits, and taxes
- Answers employee questions about wages, deductions, attendance, and time records
- Coordinates requests for leave
- Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant laws and legislation
- Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies
- Completes payroll reports
- Maintain personnel records including internal databases as required
About you:
You will possess:
- Excellent organisational and mathematical capability
- Have attention to detail, with great record-keeping skills, including being experienced with spreadsheets
- Amazing communication skills
- Able to work autonomously with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Familiar with payroll software Pronto desirable but not essential
- Understanding of Tax Procedures
- Able to multi-task
- Ability to work to deadlines
