About the role:
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering impactful infrastructure projects? We're seeking a dynamic individual to lead the development and delivery of water metering replacement projects across urban centres, minor centres, remote communities, and outstations throughout the Northern Territory.The role is a 2 year temporary assignment commencing immediately!
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, budgeting, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor project progress against scope, milestones, and financial targets.
• Resolve issues and manage risks to ensure successful outcomes.
• Develop culturally appropriate communication and engagement strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in project processes and systems.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance throughout project execution.

What you need to succeed:
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure or technology projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to write and present business cases and project documentation.
• Experience working in remote or regional areas is highly regarded.
• A current NT driver's licence
Desirable Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualifications or professional accreditation in project management or a related field.
• Experience in utilities, infrastructure, or water management projects.
• Understanding of water systems, backflow prevention, and relevant databases
