The successful Project and Service Coordinator, will be joining a small, thriving electrical services business which has been established for over ten years. Located in the eastern suburbs, and working 7.30-4pm or 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday, the key focus of this role will be to support all facets of operations with quoting, project management, documentation coordination, supplier relations, asset management and client communications.

This opportunity would suit a Seasoned Electrician (solar/domestic/commercial) looking to get more off the tools into an office environment, where your electrical technical understanding would be utilized and valued.The package on offer will include a company vehicle.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Document preparation - including tenders, contracts, projects, variations, prep for site visits, project meetings, toolbox talks
  • Support technician/electrician/job scheduling duties using Simpro
  • Handle returns, warranty claims, materials, deliveries
  • Provide support with warehouse/materials in/out duties
  • Support finance side - e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, purchase orders
  • Preparing quotes (with training and support)
  • Preparing reports
  • Support upkeep of HSEQ and compliance systems
  • General office support duties including call handling, email management and data entry

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:

  • You will be a seasoned time serviced electrician looking to get more off the tools .
  • Your electrical experience will have been gained in one of ideally, more, of the following areas - domestic, commercial, solar installation projects, planned and preventative electrical maintenance services
  • Experience in invoicing, AP and/or AR is advantageous
  • Competent IT literacy
  • Experience with Simpro is advantageous
  • Ability to competently plan, prioritise, and multitask is required
  • Excellent accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to follow routine processes in a timely manner
  • Effective and courteous communication style
  • Can do, pitch in attitude
