Your role:
- Assist in performing routine inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings.
- Release intermediate products for further processing and final products to the market.
- Maintain accurate records of quality checks, test results, and non-conformances.
- Update quality management system (QMS) documentation, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly and easily accessible.
- Assist in preparing for internal and external audits.
- Help ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to ensure timely closure.
- Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives and provide input on potential process improvements and efficiencies.
- Assist in the implementation of new quality procedures and processes.
- Support training efforts by preparing materials and assisting with the delivery of quality-related training to staff.
- Assist in handling customer complaints by gathering relevant information and preparing reports
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Handle product returns as required.
About you:
- Looking for a secure, genuine ongoing employment
- Must have laboratory testing experience
- Quality Control/Assurance experience highly regarded
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field or a laboratory technician certificate
- Familiarity with QMS standards such as ISO 9001 or ISO 13485
- There are some physical requirements to the role where the successful individual will be required to manual handle weights up to 12kg, undertake upper body and limb repetitive movements, as well as perform standing work at workstations.
