Opportunity now exists for a Supervisor / Leading Hand to join one of the Northern Territories leading producers of crushed rock, aggregates and concrete materials. An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated individual with a hands-on approach to become an integral part of the team.
About the role
• Supervising the day-to-day operation of the production workforce with daily allocation of equipment
• Planning and assisting with maintenance of crushing & screening plant and all heavy vehicles
• Ensure compliance is maintained with all company policies, procedures, and legislation
• DIDO position based at Mount Bundey - Arnhem Highway
• Bus available from Humpty Doo
• Monday to Friday - 10 - 12 hour days
• Saturday - 6-hour day (depending on requirements)
• Work vehicle while on site to complete duties
Skills & Experience
• Operation of production equipment including excavators and front-end loaders
• Supervision / team leading experience preferred (or ready to step up)
• Maintenance planning and scheduling
• Problem solving skills - identify issues, assess potential solutions, and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain productivity and efficiency
• Able to work independently with excellent communication skills
• Current HR license preferred
• White card or be willing to obtain
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
