This role is permanent, full-time role based in Edinburgh, with free onsite car parking.
Your role
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed Revit models of building components, including structural, architectural, MEP, and other relevant disciplines, to LOD 500
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure model accuracy and coordination
- Utilize Revit's features effectively to produce high-quality construction documents
- Perform clash detection and coordination analysis to identify and resolve conflicts within the model
- Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and best practices within the company
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest Revit features, techniques, and best practices
- Assist with the preparation of construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and details.
- Participate in design meetings and project discussions
- Provide technical support as required
About you
- Demonstrated experience as Revit draftsperson along with a Diploma or associate's degree in Drafting, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Revit software, as well as other relevant software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360
- Proven ability to model building components to LOD 500
- Strong understanding of BIM principles and workflows
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills
