Red Appointments are excited to support our client who is a leading Australian owned and operated wireless technology integrator. Specialising in the mining and industrial sector, designing, building, delivering, servicing and installing practical and effective solutions to meet their clients' needs.
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Technician with experience in installing CCTV and security systems on an industrial site environment. This is a specialised project that will initially require approximately 6 months working in Regional SA on a 12/6 roster with flights and accommodation provided. On an ongoing basis the projects will be a mix of regional works and also working in the Adelaide facility.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
Reporting to the Operations Manager your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
·Participate in a strong safety culture and report all incidents according to the procedures
·Ability to read and interpret site plans and schematics
·Installation and commissioning of CCTV security systems across multiple sites
·Install security and electrical cabling
·Install data networks and associated cabling
·Fault finding and problem solving
·Install basic electrical systems
·Install access control system
·Client engagement - site representatives

About you

·Security Installation Licence - essential
·SA Electrical Licence - desirable
·Open cable registration - essential
·Working at Heights & EWP - desirable
·Experience with Avigilon CCTV would be highly regarded
·Demonstrated experience working on CCTV installs
·Demonstrated practical knowledge of Australian Standards relating to telecommunications and electrical
·Previous design exp
·Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks and simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands
·Professional membership of relevant engineering association advantageous
·Current C-Class Drivers' License
·Able to work alone or as part of a team
·Entitled to work in Australia.
