They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Engineer (Civil) for a permanent and full time opportunity. Based in Adelaide and you would be visiting sites in metro Adelaide or also more remotely located projects in SA. You will be involved from bid/tender, through design stage, contract administration, project delivery and close out.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Provide input on bids and proposals, lead and write tenders
- Undertake business development and develop client relationships
- Review, prepare and/or modify engineering designs, plans, project specifications, project proposals, scopes of work and project opinion of probable cost
- Provide input, review and approval of civil engineering drawings, designs and reports
- Financial management of projects including invoices and management of outstanding debts
- Management of project timeframes, deliverables and resourcing
- Ongoing support, mentoring and development of drafters, designers and engineers
Skills and experience required to be successful in this role:
- Tertiary qualifications in CIVIL Engineering
- Engineering Consultancy experience in all or some of the following areas - large scale property, infrastructure projects, urban development, delivery of land divisions or DIT or Council Infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding and experience in contract administration and superintendency using AS2124-1992 General Conditions of Contract
- Demonstrated leadership experience and excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in business development, client engagement and consultation
- High level of computer literacy and design software
- Project Management experience / qualifications desirable
