Senior Director - Early Education

Here's is an amazing opportunity to take on a leadership role in community run early education centres.

Malak and Karama Family Centre's provide care and early education to children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 year old preschoolers. This not for profit organisation is run by the parents and is there for all the community to utilise. Providing a safe and nurturing environment for our children is at the forefront, all whilst providing appropriate age specific early learning.

Currently we seek to appoint a new Senior Director who will oversee both of the facilities. You will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the organisation's two services in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law (NT) and prescribed regulations.
Based at the Malak Centre you will be supported by a 2IC, and part time Administrator, both of whom are located within the Malak Center. Additionally, there is a Director who is based at the Karama Centre, who will provide support with the operations and service delivery. These positions will report to you.

Some key aspects of what we are looking for include:
• Significant experience in a leadership position within the sector
• High level communication skills
• Sound business acumen, including financial management
• Minimum Diploma level relevant qualification
• Lead by example attitude
• Commitment to delivering quality care and education services
• Stakeholder engagement
• Report writing
