The Role
As a Project Manager, you will take charge of diverse infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders, you will oversee all aspects of project management, including tendering, design, quality assurance, and sign-off. You will also play a key role in identifying funding opportunities and supporting grant applications.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and deliver projects aligned with council goals and community needs.
- Oversee procurement, contracts, and project teams, ensuring compliance with policies and standards.
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and performance, resolving issues proactively.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and quality standards are met.
- Assist the Infrastructure and Civil Works Manager with planning, reporting, and operational improvements.
- Represent the Infrastructure and Civil Works Manager as required.

About You
We are looking for a proactive and skilled professional with a proven ability to manage complex infrastructure projects.
- Qualifications and / or relevant experience in engineering, project management, or construction management
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure projects, including budgets and contractor coordination
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and policies.
- Current NT C Class Driver's Licence (manual), National Criminal History Check, and Working with Children/Ochre Card.
- Ability to travel to regional communities via 4WD and light aircraft, with overnight stays.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Projects and project documentation.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
