We are currently collaborating with leading South Australian engineering companies working across major shutdowns. There are multiple opportunities available and lots of work coming up in 2022.

About the Role
We are partnering with multiple large engineering companies to assist with recruiting for major shutdowns and projects in 2022. We offer shutdown work across various sites both locally in Adelaide and across regional South Australia. Working for RED Appointments, the leading shutdown specialists, allows you to work across multiple clients and always have a steady flow of work.

Sites include Adelaide Brighton Cement, Carrapateena, Prominent Hill, Olympic Dam, Iluka, Tanami Gold Mine, Nyrstar, GFG Whyalla, Origin Power Station and many more!

Shutdowns vary in length and are always 12hr shifts with appropriate allowances paid and accommodation offered if required. There is lots of upcoming work and the opportunity to jump from shutdown to shutdown.

Skills and Experience
• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitter)
• Experience with maintenance work on industrial plant
• Previous experience working on-site highly regarded
• Flexibility to work long hours and work away
• Strong commitment to OH&S
• Pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screening

Tickets (or willingness to obtain)
• Confined Space
• Working at Heights
• Police Clearance (for Oz Minerals site)
• White Card (for construction projects only)
