About the Role:
Reporting to and supporting the Project Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing project works, including erecting partition and stud walls both stud and steel frame, grid and hanging ceilings, ceiling fixing, flushing as well has hanging sheets. You will also provide guidance to your team while ensuring effective management of people and processes to deliver projects on time and budget.
- Plan and install plasterboard panels on walls and ceilings.
- Measure, cut, fit, and secure the gyrock/plasterboard panels.
- Install insulation, acoustic, fireproofing and vapour barriers if needed.
- Mix and apply plaster, cement, and similar materials.
- Use appropriate tools to smooth, level, install and secure and flush plasterboard, cornices.
- Ensures finishes are level, straight and quality of work is of a high standard.
- Fix any structural irregularities.
- Ensure that the quality of work meets the project's requirements and complies with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Work with other tradespeople and communicate with clients (as required).
- Adhere by safety regulations and industry standards.
- Supervise construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure they follow project specifications and safety standards.
- Ensure that the construction activities are completed on time and within budget.
- Experience in plastering, ceiling fixing and construction.
- Prior experience in team leadership, site supervision, or project coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-end finishes.
- Ability to balance hands-on work with project supervision responsibilities.
- White Card and valid driver's license required.
