Position: Substation Electrician
Are you a dedicated and experienced Substation Electrician looking for an exciting opportunity to advance your career? We are seeking talented individuals to join our dynamic team. If you possess the necessary qualifications and a passion for excellence, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical substations.
Conduct routine inspections and testing to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
Collaborate with a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Adhere to safety standards and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Substation Electrician.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Qualifications:
A-Class electrical licence is essential.
LVR/CPR Certification: Up-to-date Low Voltage Rescue and CPR certifications are mandatory.
White Card
Working at heights (Preferred)
EWP - (Preferred)
TAAM Certified (Worked with Electranet) Preferred not essential.
Away work / Regional Work
• Away work is working minimum 10 hours days
• Construction work
• Normally 11:3 roster (bush roster)
• Working through weekend
• LAFA per day away + Client Provides Accommodation
• All day shifts
Metro Work
- 6 days a week
- Company Car
